Many sacred relics of saints rest in the Chapel.  Relics are objects associated with saints.  First Class Relic is an actual body part such as a bone fragment.  A Second Class Relic is a part of the saints clothing or some other article used by the saint.  Third Class Relics are objects touched to a first class relic.  The Chapel holds only First and Second Class Relics of the following saints: Blessed Padre Junipero Serra, O.F.M., St. John Bosco, St. Maria Goretti, St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton (First United States of America Saint), St. Pope Pius X, St. Claret.
